The fifth generation Cavalier has been marketed in Mexico since late 2021 as a 2022 model. The Cavalier was discontinued in July 2025, leaving the Aveo and the Onix as the only Chevrolet passenger cars sold in Mexico. Its model years run from 2022 to 2025. It is a compact sedan sold in the Mexican market, the successor of the Cavalier that replaced the Chevrolet Sonic there in 2018, and its discontinuation left Chevrolet with only the smaller Aveo and the Onix among its Mexican passenger cars.
