The Seville was redesigned for the 1992 model year, with the wheelbase increased 3 inches to 111 inches and the overall length over 13 inches to 203.9 inches. The upright formal roofline was replaced by a steeply raked rear window, and the range was divided into two sub models, the Seville Luxury Sedan, SLS, and the Seville Touring Sedan, STS. Its model years run from 1992 to 1997. It was Motor Trend's Car of the Year for 1992 and carried a Northstar V8 from 1993 in the STS.
