Cadillac Eldorado (ninth generation, 1971 to 1978)

Automobiles

The ninth generation Eldorado, introduced for 1971, was substantially redesigned, growing two inches in length and six in wheelbase and featuring standard fender skirts, all of which gave the car a much heavier appearance. This 126.3 inch wheelbase Eldorado would run through 1978, with major facelifts for 1973, 1974 and 1975. Its model years run from 1971 to 1978. It ran eight years, with the convertible offered in 1971 and again in 1976, and in 1978 the Biarritz option packages were sold.
