The iX3 is BMW's battery electric compact crossover. The first one, the G08 of 2020, was an electric version of the X3 and the first battery electric BMW SUV, built in China at Dadong, Shenyang. In 2025 it was replaced by the NA5, a model on the all new Neue Klasse platform with an 800 volt architecture that no longer shares its underpinnings with the petrol X3, and a long wheelbase version for China follows in 2026. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the G08 (2020 to 2025); the NA5 (2024 to present).
