The F01 and F02 were the fifth generation 7 Series, a short and a long wheelbase full size luxury saloon presented at Moscow's Red Square on 8 July 2008. It brought a more conventional look after the E65 and added an ActiveHybrid 7 version, a high security F03 and in the United States the first six cylinder 7 Series since 1992. A facelift followed in 2012, and the G11 replaced it in July 2015. Its model years run from 2008 to 2015.
