Autozam AZ-3

Automobiles

The AZ-3 was a hatchback coupe that Mazda made and sold through its Autozam channel in Japan from June 1991 to 1998, the sister of the Eunos Presso and the Japanese form of the MX-3. It began with the 1.5 liter inline four and got the 1.8 liter V6 in September 1993. The AZ stands for Autozam and the 3 for the size of the car. It ended in 1998 with weak sales of specialty cars, and the second generation Roadster was its virtual replacement. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the first generation (1991 to 1998).
