The Sixteen Light Six was a medium six cylinder saloon that Austin announced in October 1927, sitting above the Seven and the Twelve but well below the 3.6 litre Twenty. It was known as the Sixteen from 1930, offered an 18 horsepower engine from 1933, and was replaced in 1937 by a new body that came only with the larger engine and was called the Eighteen. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the Sixteen Light Six and Sixteen (1927 to 1937).
