AMC Matador

Automobiles

The AMC Matador was a series of mid size and full size cars that American Motors Corporation produced from 1971 through 1978, in two generations. The first, from 1971 to 1973, had two door hardtop, four door sedan and station wagon body styles, and the second, from 1974 to 1978, moved to a full size platform with a fastback coupe, a sedan and a wagon. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the first generation (1971 to 1973); the second generation (1974 to 1978).
