On 12 January 2024 at the Tokyo Auto Salon the GR Yaris received a facelift with an 8 speed automatic option, and the RC replaced the RS grade in January 2024. The Sebastien Ogier and Kalle Rovanpera Editions were unveiled at the Rallye Monte-Carlo on 25 January 2024, the car made its Rally2 debut, and Thailand launched it on 28 November 2024. It was model year 4 of 6 in the Toyota GR Yaris (single generation), 2020 to 2026, coming after the 2023 model year and before the 2025 model year.
