Imports of the bZ4X from Japan began in 2024 to Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia, with orders taken from late 2023. The Solterra of 2024 was in its third year on sale, using the same Toyota connected services for in car navigation and entertainment, with branding removed, and the e-Subaru Global Platform. The Toyota bZ4X is the first vehicle based on the e-TNGA platform co-developed by Toyota and Subaru. Lexus also offers a sibling model of the bZ4X, the Lexus RZ.
