The J250 series Land Cruiser Prado was revealed on 2 August 2023, with retro inspired, boxy exterior styling inspired by the J60 model from the 1980s. The Prado was introduced in North America in 2023 and marketed simply as the Land Cruiser. This was the first model year of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (fifth generation, J250), 2023 to 2026, which took over from the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (fourth generation, J150); the 2024 model year follows it.
