The facelifted Innova was launched in Malaysia on 2 February 2021 and in the Philippines on 20 February 2021. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Toyota Astra Motor, a limited edition variant of the Kijang Innova was made available in April 2021. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Innova (second generation, AN140), 2015 to 2021, and the Toyota Innova (third generation, AG10) came next, following the 2020 model year.
