2020 Mazda3

In 2020 Mazda widened the fourth generation Mazda3 range: the 2.5 liter turbocharged engine was added in Mexico in July as a hatchback only, all wheel drive became an option for every engine in Japan from February, and the Skyactiv-X petrol arrived in Australia in September and in New Zealand in October. The Mazda3 won the World Car Design of the Year award, and a planned TCR racing program was canceled in August because of the pandemic.
