The fifteenth generation Crown was shown as a concept at the 45th Tokyo Motor Show in October 2017, as the S210 neared the end of its run. In Japan the S210 stayed on sale until June 2018, when the new car took over, and in China it continued until the Avalon replaced it in 2020. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Crown (fourteenth generation, S210), 2012 to 2017, and the Toyota Crown (fifteenth generation, S220) came next, following the 2016 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Crown run from 1955 to 2026.
