The refreshed 2016 ILX was unveiled at the Los Angeles show in November 2014 and went on sale in February 2015. It had one engine, a direct-injected 2.4 litre four-cylinder with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission closely related to the TLX's, and the manual was dropped. Jewel Eye LED headlamps and new LED tail lamps were standard, and a new A-Spec trim offered sporty styling. Production moved to Marysville, Ohio from January 2015.
