At the 2015 New York show in April it was announced that the Mazda plant in Salamanca would produce a version of the Mazda2 for Toyota with minor styling changes, and in July 2015 Toyota confirmed it would be sold in Mexico as the Yaris R. A concept based on the XP150 Yaris was showcased in Indonesia in August 2015 as the Yaris Legian. It was model year 5 of 9 in the Toyota Yaris (third generation, XP130 and XP150), 2011 to 2019, coming after the 2014 model year and before the 2016 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Yaris run from 1999 to 2022.
