For 2015 automatic headlights, rear parking sensors and a rear view camera became standard on the MKZ. Additionally in 2015 the Lincoln MKZ was exported to China to increase overall sales. The MKZ was manufactured exclusively at Ford's Hermosillo Stamping and Assembly plant in Mexico, and shared its CD4 platform with the Fusion and Mondeo. It was a mid size, four door, five passenger luxury sedan sold in North America and, from 2015, China.
