The 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan carried on with the RT platform that had begun in 2008, with the Pentastar 3.6 liter V6, and in the line of RT based vans were the Chrysler Town and Country, the Ram C/V cargo van and the Routan, which Volkswagen had left open the possibility of resuming for 2014. The Grand Caravan was sold by Dodge at a lower price than the Town and Country. The Grand Caravan was built at Windsor Assembly, as it had been since 2008.
