The 2013 Routan was reserved for fleet purchasers, and 2,500 were produced by Chrysler during the calendar year, after Volkswagen announced there would be no 2013 retail model. The Dodge Grand Caravan continued as the lower priced Chrysler minivan with the Pentastar V6 and the 62TE automatic, alongside the Chrysler Town and Country, and the Dodge Caravan nameplate carried on for the Canada Value Package cars.
