The Ram C/V Tradesman cargo version of the van was discontinued after the 2015 model year in favor of the ProMaster City. The 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan was in the eighth year of the RT platform, with the 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 and the six speed 62TE automatic, and Chrysler's decision to introduce a new Pacifica minivan for 2017 meant that the Town and Country had only one more year of production. It continued to be built at Windsor Assembly.
