2013 Subaru Pleo

Automobiles

In 2013 the Pleo continued as the rebadged Daihatsu Mira that Subaru had sold since April 2010, manufactured by Daihatsu instead of Subaru. It was one of the cars that the Japanese market kei class offered to buyers who wanted tax breaks, and it competed with the Honda Life, the Daihatsu Move and the Mitsubishi Toppo. The name pleo is Latin meaning to fill or to fulfill. The Pleo is taller than conventional kei car hatchbacks, but shorter than the definitive microvan, the Suzuki Wagon R.
