In 2013 the B-Max was sold in Studio, Zetec and Titanium trims, with the Studio the basic model offered only with the 1.4 litre engine. It had the Intelligent Protection system, Torque Vectoring Control, the SYNC and Fold Flat systems, and had been tested by Euro NCAP in 2012 with five stars. It was a short lived model with a single generation and no facelift, in the segment below the C-Max. The B-Max was a mini people carrier built on the same global B platform as the Ford Fiesta, and Ford sold it across Europe.
