2012 Ford B-Max

Automobiles

Production of the B-Max began in June 2012 and marketing started in late July, with a United Kingdom launch on 1 September. It had rear sliding doors with no B pillars and the new turbocharged three cylinder 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine, which won the title of International Engine of the Year for 2012. The B-Max was a mini people carrier built on the same global B platform as the Ford Fiesta, and Ford sold it across Europe. It was a short lived model with a single generation and no facelift, in the segment below the C-Max.
