The second generation Vios received its second facelift in 2012. The third generation was previewed at Auto China in April 2012 by the Dear Qin sedan concept, ahead of the XP150 launch. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Vios (second generation, XP90), 2007 to 2012, and the Toyota Vios (third generation, XP150) came next, following the 2011 model year.
