In 2012 a 2.5 liter engine version mated with a five speed automatic replaced the 2.3 liter with four speed in China. The third generation MPV of 2012 was in its seventh year on sale, a minivan sold in Japan, China and several Southeast Asian markets, and not in North America or Europe. It was not sold to North America, Europe and other left hand drive markets besides China. The MPV is a minivan manufactured by Mazda, and over one million MPV models have been produced since its introduction.
