A more substantial facelift was first shown in July 2012, bringing the new Lexus corporate fascia built around the spindle grille. It followed the 2010 revision and was the biggest change to the fourth generation LS. It was model year 6 of 11 in the Lexus LS (fourth generation, XF40), 2007 to 2017, coming after the 2011 model year and before the 2013 model year.
