The 2012 RL looks like a straight carryover of the 2011 refresh with nothing of substance altered, with the 3.7 litre V6, six-speed automatic and Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. The color Platinum Frost Metallic, dropped in 2011, appears to have been added back for 2012. This was the last model year of the RL, which was succeeded by the Acura RLX after Honda showed the RLX concept in April 2012 and the production RLX at the Los Angeles Auto Show, first with front-wheel drive and later with a hybrid all-wheel-drive version.
