The second generation Avanza was launched in Indonesia on 9 November 2011 with the same platform as the original model. The Veloz grade arrived to take the place of the earlier S grade, and the Daihatsu Xenia was launched alongside it the same day. This was the first model year of the Toyota Avanza (second generation, F650), 2011 to 2021, which took over from the Toyota Avanza (first generation, F600); the 2012 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Avanza run from 2004 to 2022.
