The electric Stella was also intended to be sold in the European Union starting September 2010, but never was. The Stella of 2010 was in its fifth year, the last of the first generation built by Subaru, with the Pleo having soldiered on for four years after the Stella's launch before it was replaced. The Stella is a five door kei car sold by Subaru starting in June 2006. The Stella's dimensions are more parking structure friendly, where vehicle stacking is utilized, than the Pleo's.
