A specification change in July 2010 made the Dex meet the JC08 cold mode, and so its low emission certification level changed to the 50 percent reduction level of the 2005 standard. The Dex of 2010 was in its third year, a small tall wagon with a Daihatsu 1.3 liter engine, front wheel drive or AWD, whose suspension was set the same as that of the Coo, since Fuji Heavy Industries judged it good enough in its own tests.
