In Taiwan the Innova was launched on 4 July 2007, replacing the Zace Surf, which was not compliant with the stricter emissions regulations. In Indonesia the 2.7 V grade was discontinued in 2007 due to low demand caused by its relatively high price. It was model year 4 of 11 in the Toyota Innova (first generation, AN40), 2004 to 2014, coming after the 2006 model year and before the 2008 model year.
