The 2007 model year brought a minor cosmetic facelift to the Mazda3, with a body colored grille on base models, a floating foglight design for the front bumper, new alloy wheels up to 17 inches on the Grand Touring and clear lens tail lights like those of the SP23. The interior gained new colors and an audio jack for digital music players, and the body shell, keyless entry and dampers were improved. Chinese production began in 2007.
