The third generation model was introduced in 2006 in Japanese and Australian markets as the Estima and Tarago respectively, and as the Previa in other markets. The Australian market version kept the Tarago name when it was released in March 2006. This was the first model year of the Toyota Previa (third generation, XR50), 2006 to 2019, which took over from the Toyota Previa (second generation, XR30 and XR40); the 2007 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Previa run from 1990 to 2019.
