On 25 December 2006 the first generation was restyled, and the restyled version went to Europe as the Sirion in 2007. The Perodua Myvi had by then become the best selling car in Malaysia for 2006. It was model year 3 of 4 in the Toyota Passo (first generation, M300 and AC10), 2004 to 2009, coming after the 2005 model year and before the 2007 model year.
