2006 Mazda Tribute

Automobiles

Japanese sales of the Tribute ended in March 2006, when it was replaced by the similarly sized CX-7. A significantly facelifted Tribute was released in the second half of 2006 for the Asia Pacific markets, with a larger, bolder grille and bigger Mazda emblem, restyled bumper and headlights, indicators in the mirrors, a floor shifter, and rear disc brakes, with a V6 that used over 10 percent less fuel. The Ford Escape was sold as the Ford Maverick in Europe.
