Freestanding options available on the base GS included heated mirrors, offered in 2004 to 2008, an AM/FM/CD radio from mid 2003 to 2004, chromed wheel covers and rear air suspension. During the 2000s Mercury introduced the revived Marauder, an equipment variant of the Grand Marquis, in 2003 and 2004. The Grand Marquis replaced the Crown Victoria in the retail market. The fourth generation Grand Marquis was a four door sedan on the Panther platform.
