2004 Ford Explorer

Automobiles

The article used for this page names no change that belongs to 2004 alone. The third generation Explorer was a purpose built five door SUV, in its third model year, with a Mercury Mountaineer and a Lincoln Aviator counterpart sold by Ford's other divisions. It was built at Louisville Assembly in Kentucky and the now closed St. Louis Assembly plant in Missouri, as were its predecessors. The Aviator was its upscale Lincoln relative.
