For 2003 Ford introduced a James Bond 007 Edition of the Thunderbird as a co-branding promotion for the film Die Another Day, in which the car was driven by Halle Berry's character. Production of the edition was 700, in coral paint with a white hardtop, twenty one spoke chrome wheels, white perforated leather and engine turned interior trim panels with a 007 emblem. Ford later brought out a special edition for 2004.
