The GTC convertible trim was offered from 2002 to 2006, above the LX and Limited. The second generation Sebring sedan and convertible, based on the JR platform, were made in left hand drive only, so they were not sold in the United Kingdom and Ireland, although Chrysler UK did import 50 convertibles with the 2.7 liter engine in 2001 and 2002. The coupe continued on the Mitsubishi platform. It was one of three body styles sold that year.
