2001 Mitsubishi Libero

The registration of all the unregistered cars of the last wagon stock of the Libero was completed at the end of March 2001, which ended the sales of the wagon. The Libero Cargo, the commercial van, stayed in production. The Libero of 2001 was thus the Libero Cargo only, a van with the 1.3 or 1.5 liter 12 valve engine with a carburetor or a diesel, on the base of the Lancer. The passenger wagon was called the Libero and the commercial van the Libero Cargo.
