The 2001 model year was the final one for the Honda Prelude, and production stopped in 2001 as the fourth generation Integra was introduced. Canada gained the SE trim in 2001 as a replacement for the Type SH, mechanically identical to base models but with perforated, heated leather seats, Type SH Enkei rims, the Type SH spoiler and a leather wrapped shift knob. The SE did not receive body coloured side skirts or the active torque transfer system. The Prelude nameplate was reintroduced in 2025.
