The 2025 Honda Prelude was the first model year of the sixth generation, after a hybrid electric concept shown at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show. Sales began in Japan on 5 September 2025, and on 5 November 2025 the car won the Car Design of the Year award from the Japan Automotive Hall of Fame for 2025 to 2026. North America got it in November 2025 in one trim without a name, with nothing optional except exterior colors, upholstery and alloy wheel designs, and it has the Honda S+ Shift drive mode with 8 simulated gear ratios.
