1998 Toyota Corolla

Automobiles

In 1998 some Corollas outside Japan got the new aluminum 1ZZ-FE engine. Thailand received a facelift in April that added the larger 1.8 liter 7A-FE engine and dropped the 1.5 liter 5A-FE, and in March Indonesia added updated 1.8 liter XLi and SE-G models. It was model year 4 of 5 in the Toyota Corolla (eighth generation, E110), 1995 to 1999, coming after the 1997 model year and before the 1999 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Corolla run from 1966 to 2026.
