1998 Toyota Camry

Automobiles

In 1998 the Japan only V40 Camry finally ended production and the Vista split off as its own line, so Japan again sold the same wide body Camry as the rest of the world. In the United States a coupe was added for the 1999 model year, as a separate Solara nameplate. It was model year 2 of 5 in the Toyota Camry (fourth generation, XV20), 1997 to 2001, coming after the 1997 model year and before the 1999 model year.
