1997 Toyota Aristo

In August 1997 the second generation Toyota Aristo was launched in Japan, codenamed JZS160 and JZS161, after production of the first generation ended in July 1997. For export markets the second generation GS began production in the JZS161 body style on 4 August 1997. This was the first model year of the Toyota Aristo (second generation, S160), 1997 to 2004, which took over from the Toyota Aristo (first generation, S140); the 1998 model year follows it.
