Production of the E110 started in May 1995 on the same platform as the E100, sharing doors on some models. Indonesia received it in December 1995, while the previous wagons and vans continued alongside it in Japan. This was the first model year of the Toyota Corolla (eighth generation, E110), 1995 to 1999, which took over from the Toyota Corolla (seventh generation, E100); the 1996 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Corolla run from 1966 to 2026.
