The fourth generation Supra, the second generation to carry the Supra name alone in Japan, was introduced in May 1993. It came with a 3.0 liter inline six in turbo 2JZ-GTE and naturally aspirated 2JZ-GE forms, and its development had been led by Isao Tsuzuki from February 1989. This was the first model year of the Toyota Supra (fourth generation, A80), 1993 to 2002, which took over from the Toyota Supra (third generation, A70); the 1994 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Supra run from 1978 to 2026.
