Permanent all wheel drive, called i-Four, was offered as an option on the Chaser in 1993 to stay competitive with the Nissan Skyline GTS sedan. The X90 series was sold in Japan through Toyota Auto Store dealerships. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Chaser (fifth generation, X90), 1992 to 1995, and the Toyota Chaser (sixth generation, X100) came next, following the 1992 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Chaser run from 1977 to 2001.
