In 1993 Mazda Canada offered a limited special edition MX-3 GS to celebrate its 25th year in Canada, with the V6 engine, a leather interior, heated seats and custom 15 inch alloy wheels, and Mazda USA offered a similar one; about 2,000 were supposedly made in all. Mazda Europe built 100 MX-3 V6 SEs with leather and suede interiors and white bodies, and some V6 Equipes in green. The rear suspension was Mazda's Twin-Trapezoidal Link layout.
