1992 Ford E-Series

Automobiles

For the 1992 model year Ford introduced the fourth generation of the Econoline and Club Wagon, with the third generation chassis largely carried over but the body and interior completely redesigned. In contrast to its GM and Dodge rivals the two box body made a return, with aerodynamics improved. The E Series was Ford's full size van, sold as the Econoline and Club Wagon and as a cutaway chassis. It was the best selling full size van in the United States from 1980 until the Transit replaced the vans in 2014.
